Mapas

‘Mapas’ is a visual essay of many years of my life, a look at multicultural roots in the same geographical space. It is a timeless photographic archive that emerged inherently, built with loose photographs and some important pieces from other series. This work is made with pieces of time I found among folders full of images, made some years ago and others recently, where the connection between them becomes evident. This series is an exercise that allows me to show how wonderful it is to observe the spaces we inhabit and make a record of them, and then see the similarity between some images and others regardless of time or place.
