LUCILARAMOS

Lucila Ramos is a Mexican photographer, who captures ephemeral beauty and fashion, turning it into art through photography. Lucila was born in Mazatlan, Sinaloa in 1976. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa with a degree in Communication Science. While there, she began studying photography in 1994.


Since 1998, she has pursued ventures in editorial design, working as a graphic communicator for different media organizations, such as Newspaper Noroeste Mazatlan. In 2000, she moved to Mexico City and joined Diario Reforma's graphic design team. In 2002 she worked as a freelance designer for Revista a! DiseƱo and Editorial Televisa. That same year, she become the Art Director of Aduanas, a renowned Mexican magazine of international commerce. Later from 2005-2009, Lucila worked at IPN, a noted Mexican university, for the Department of Academic Coordination of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies.


Due to growing up alongside her journalist father in a house full of newspapers, boxes of photographs, and books, she always had a strong interest in photography. Consequently, in 2010 Lucila dedicated herself fully to her true passion, photography. Her passion for the camera reveals itself in each shot through her incredible ability to capture art.


She has developed personal photography projects and has worked for important model agencies, such as Paragon Model Management Mexico, Contempo Models, Queta Rojas, and New Icon Model. She is available for fashion photography and photojournalism.
